Step 1: Assess & Quote

We need to do measure your staircase and calculate the length of the rail. This can also be by yourself, if needed.We will find out which special features you need, like colour, material, parking point and etc. With all the information, we will provide you with a quotation.

Step 2: Confirmation

Upon confirmation on the quotation, we will perform the staircase photo measurement. The Otolift specialist will then design the stairlift based on your requirement and specially for your stairs. The stairlift design drawing will be presented to you for your approval. Upon approval, Otolift will start with the fabrication. Upon completion, we will ship the stairlift from Netherlands to Singapore and deliver up to your door step.

Step 3: Installation

The installation of the lift takes an average of six to eight hours. After installation, you will receive a friendly and comprehensive explanation on the usage of the stairlift.

Depending on the staircase, lift model and shipment type you opt for, the delivery time varies between four to eight weeks. If an urgent situation occurs, Otolift is able to help you expedite the process in many situations.

Our stairlift is customised to fit your staircase and can be provided with basic or with additional features.

For a straight staircase, the stairlift price is determined by the length of the staircase.

For a curved staircase, the stairlift price is determined by the length of the staircase and number of bends needed for the complete stairlift solution.

The stairlift warranty is 12 months (1 year) from the date of the installation.

The stairlift is battery powered by 2 batteries. Each of the battery is 12 Volt each.

However, we need a 240 Volt 13 Amp power socket either at the top or bottom of the staircase to provide electricity to the stairlift to keep the batteries charged.

The maximum weight the stairlift can carry is 125kg, and that is based on continuous load.

Our stairlift is battery powered machine. Therefore, it is lightning proof.

However, by a direct lightning hit might damage the charger. So, for houses in prone areas, we do advise an additional protector. Do check with our staff for one unit of protection to be installed during the installation.

Our stairlift rail will be mounted on the staircase. The wall and hand rail will remain untouched.

The stairlift rail will be neatly screwed onto the stairs with small supports.

The Otolift Modul-Air can be placed perfectly on the narrow inside bend of your staircase, so that the wide side of your staircase remains completely free and your railing can stay.

The Otolift Two can be placed along the outside bend of your stairs. The rail of this stairlift is very slender.

There is a different solution for each staircase.

The rail of the stairlift can be designed with drop start or mint start at the first step or sliding rail. In this way, nothing stands out for a door or in a corridor.

Our stairlift comes with a rotatable seat section. When you’re at the top of the stairs you can easily turn the seat a quarter turn, after which you can safely make the entry or exit.

Our stairlift comes with 2 wireless remote control. You can place one at the top and one at the bottom of the stairs. These controls are included when you purchase the stairlift from us.

Using the wireless remote control, you can take the stairlift to you (upstairs or downstairs).
